Today's Breakfast: Just Snacks

Californian states

Once again, looking at this photo will only drives my sweet memories with Lucas back. Oh no, why do I keep on talking about him? O.o There was this day--when I still had my blog updated so this was very long time ago--when me and Lucas and some friends of Medugalion UK had our short trip in California :) Wow, you should really try their foods! Never tasted one like that before! :9

Yup, Lucas took these photos for me...

Today's Breakfast: Fruity Homemade

Pizza and vitamin C

I don't know how it is where you live, but it's hot here.  I planned on simple meals this week so I didn't have to make it even warmer in our house with the oven running. But, I tried a new recipe for oatmeal squares found on Pinterest (they were alright... I doubled the recipe and next time won't put so much cinnamon in them). And then last night I decided pizza sounded really good... So we had homemade pizza and I've used my oven everyday so far this week :D

I can't complain much... at least we aren't battling the heat PLUS wildfires. We were pretty excited to have another vacation in the near future and planned on staying with my mom out there. But only time will tell~

Today's Breakfast: Green Food, Green Life

Homemade arugula pesto

Guess what? I'm tired of having my breakfasts :$ No, not because I am physically forced to post about the today's breakfast's blogpost series. It's just, I used to eat anything, anytime I want. But after Lucas moved in, he forces me to have my breakfasts--and dinner, lunch, everything--on time. And he's getting serious about this. And I'm getting enough of this. And he's still gonna force me to eat properly. And I'm.... blessed for that :D Have a great Thursday!

Today's Breakfast: Fresh Seafood

Grilled tuna with vegetables

We're simply delighted to have a non-dessert breakfast today :D Finally! I browsed through some new recipes on web and found this grilled tuna and how to add the garnish. Not bad for the first time trial :p This is the one I made for Lucas. The very first version of it is actually rather mess-up and I can't serve him that 'thing'. It's just creepy, even Zarry didn't want to eat it :x

Today's Breakfast: Three & The Same

Original flavoured pancake with Yorkshire tea

It's lazy Friday and Lucia decided to joined with me and Lucas for breakfast this morning. We had a lot of fun and quality chit-chats--though it wasn't really quality enough LOL! Have I told you how maniac I am of pancakes? Oh yes I have. I am pancake junkies so yeah, me and Lucia made pancakes, AGAIN for our breakfast :D We also had Yorkshire tea which Lucia got from her grandma. Oooh, now I miss my old friends in Medugalion London :( Don't worry, babe, I'm gonna make you another variant of foods for our lovely breakfast next time :*

So you (yes, you), what you got for breakfast??? ;)

Today's Breakfast: Warm & Love

Honey pancake and chocolate milk

Attention, everyone. This is the first time Lucas woke up earlier than me! :D Yes, since we moved to Milan, Lucas rarely wake up in the morning--he gets on over 11 am, mark that~ But todaaaayyy, he woke me up and when I looked at him, he already got his shower :O He even made me a lovely breakfast. Pancake showered by sweet honey we both just bought yesterday :9 Thank's Luc!

And you, what's your breakfast this morning? ;)

Today's Breakfast: You-Good

Me and Lucas decided to have a healthy snack this morning because we didn't feel like to have a big breakfast. So I opened the web and looked for a good-looking yougurt recipe. Not a special one, but it sure was very delicious! :9 What I love from yougurt is that it has low fat, healthy, and you can mix everything in it.

Today's Breakfast: The Questioner

Today when I checked my e-mail this morning, I got some questions by my penpal from China, Six. I've told you before that I knew this girl from the crazy site, Omegle. Now after we become bestfriend, we often share some things, including our breakfast menu. And here are the questions me and Six have exchanged before which I'm gonna try to answer, not to eat them:

1. What is your favorite thing to make for breakfast?
- I have a hard time making culinary decisions in the morning and if I'm on my own, I basically always either have greek yogurt with muesli or avocado on toast with lemon. Also, we are entering my favorite time of year ever in Milan: peach season; recent mornings have concluded in a stone fruit overdose.

2. What is your favorite thing to order when you go out to breakfast?
- Things I don't like cooking for myself or that I rarely buy the ingredients to prepare: poached eggs // lox // fancy cocktails. I almost always order something savory; in an ideal world I would skip breakfast foods and just move straight on to lunch, sometimes.

3. Do you have a favorite local spot?
- In Italy I loved going to Bagel Hole down the street from our own apartment, which has the best bagels ever served out of a shop the size of a closet. In Milan itself, we have been frequenting the newish Elizabeth Street Cafe, which is a French-Vietnamese restaurant with an interesting menu and really great ambiance. For something quick, breakfast tacos any time, any day.

4. What are your favorite breakfast drinks?
- In Milan, my favorite coffee shop--except Starbucks, don't ask--is Houndstooth. They have a really nice pour-over that reminds me of my all-time favorite coffee: Grumpy's in Park Slope.

5. Have you read any interesting food-related books you would like to share?
- I have been cooking a lot from Ottolenghi's Plenty, which I highly recommend. The recipes are all really interesting but not too complicated or heavy; the socca flatbreads, mushroom and herb polenta, and pistachio salad are some of the best things I've made in recent memory.

Today's Breakfast: Hotties

Roasted bread with eggs, onion, and everything spicy

Yep, I found lots of spicy garments in the kitchen last night and decided to add them to our breakfast menu. I didn't have much time this morning since I had to give some papers to Lucia at her house. This weekend is the toughest one, I guess. But since this evening, I am free! :) I've been loving my mornings since I made the Today's Breakfast's blogpost series--and to find out that Lucas is here beside me, asdfghjkl :$ What's your breakfast, cupcakes? ;)

Today's Breakfast: So Messy

Today I have something to confess: now I'm a huuuuge pancake junkie. I could probably eat pancakes all day long with all sorts of yummy jelly and sugar. I guess I shouldn't though, because my body would mind. But it's good to know that I actually could haha. This is also why I was super thrilled when Revel sent me the recipe for a pancake cake on my birthday last year. Of course I had to try it. And it's sooo easy and sooooo yummy--though in this picture it's so messy. You can find the recipe here or here. Happy weekend!

Today's Breakfast: Life Is Good

So excited to see one of my Today's Breakfast's photos on my bestfriend's new fall catalog and, Lucas' book, We Start Morning With You which is available for pre-order. Oh yes, Lucas has been writing his own cooking book for a couple of months ago. And I've decided to help him since taking pictures of food is really my thing. So that's what keeping me busy from updating my blog. The book itself is really fun, full with so many unique recipes from foods all over world and other things we can do to avoid the morning blues, especially on Mondays.

And, yes I'm addicted to Trader Joe's Cocoa Almond spread.

Today's Breakfast: Sugarlips

Nah, it's not that Sugarlips clothing brand. Today before I went shopping with Maria for the last time (cuz she's going to have some freelance trial in some agencies this evening), Lucas took me to a really strange cafe, "The Unknown" :/ Uh-uh, you can imagine all those creepy things in this cafe just from its name. But yeaaaaaah, the coffees and the sweets are not so bad~ Truth is, I feel like wanna go back to that place again. With Lucas, of course :x

Today's Breakfast: Palm Springs

Fruits salad

FRUITS. Yeah, and I'm lack of it. I'm not vegetarian (trust me I've tried but it doesn't really work on me!), but consuming fruits are my fave. I changed my unhealthy snacks with fruits. But when I'm running out of them, I back to my bad habits :$ Welp, like I care. I always want to go to Palm Springs. I still remember I used to wrote the wrong spelling of it as 'Pulm Spring'. So everytime I heard about Palm Springs, I remembered the plum fruit, ha! That place is heaven, right? Any of you guys ever been there? What is it like?

Today's Breakfast: Warm Greetings

Toasted bread and caramel coffee

Arrived in Moscow safely :) And the first thing I looked for was Miyawako and her superfine kitchen in our house (my ex-house, well). Smoke came out from our chimney and it reminded me with the old times. About 5 years ago, I came to this town alone without anyone to accompanied. I brave myself to lived separately from my parents and family, far away from Greece.

Now after I've grown up into someone I've never thought I would before, I decided to say another goodbye to Moscow. Not because it gave me too many burdens on me, but because life asked me to. If I just stayed in this place forever, I might won't discover many other things that probably could help me became a better person. To make sure that I'll always be good enough for Moscow :)

It's always good to be home. I know it's not Athens, but home is where people who love you, wait for you.

Today's Breakfast: Salmonage

Vegetable salmon with garlic bread and mid-lower potato a la Mexico

Yesterday's breakfast, actually, was spent at Pachis Villa. At first, there were only few people who had their breakfast at Pachis Villa, but then it's getting many and many more! I had a very awesome menu too there. It was salmon and potatoes in the oven with salad and garlic breads. Tasted delicioso! After we finished the breakfast, we went back to our hotel and had a five hours of beauty sleep. Then afterwards, we went to Närpes to buy foods for tonight's game.

Today's Breakfast: Quick & Fast

Butter croissants and Luwak coffee

Mmmmh, a normal morning. Finally. I feel so happy today, maybe because Lucas has back to the normal he is :) I mean, since the "little conflict" we had at Starbucks a few days ago, he finally talked to me again this morning. Don't know what to say, but that really made my day. So before we both went for our office, we treated each other a quick breakfast. Butter croissants and two cups of Luwak coffee (it's from Indonesia!) is really a great choice. We did a little chitchats and, well, Lucas spoke a lot today :/ That's weird since he used to be more calm since we're in a relationship. But I hope it'll be just like what Josh told to me.

I also told him more about the real story between me and Vini. And now, I feel more quiet :)

Today's Breakfast: Zuppa Zoup!

Beef mayo covered with bread in a cup

The only reason why I haven't posted about my routine "Today's Breakfast" is that I haven't consumed any breakfasts since I back home from London on my last trip for the LFW. I mean, I ate foods, but they weren't for breakfast and I just can't post them as my breakfast, right? So now, I can finally manage my time and have my breakfast again :) Thank's a lot for Miyawako, she always remind me about my own health!

Today's Breakfast: Sailor Finds

Roasted "egg-lay" with strawberry sherbet and hovana

Yay, after weeks I didn't post my breakfast journal, I finally come up with a fresh, totally delicious menu! This morning Shin Hye, Elena, Yamamoto, and I stopped at 'The Monday Oh' for the first time and tried out almost all of their foods on menu :D Since I always love trying new foods on different places, this time I tried out to combine the appetizer and the dessert like I did before, and once again.... it was so tasty! I love my super power gift on mixing food altogether :)

Anyway, when I was watching TV last night, getting myself lazy for almost the whole day, Shin Hye showed me what she took yesterday evening on Grazille Candy Market with Elena. God damn sweets....

Today's Breakfast: Massive Calories

Partying with McDonald's food family. Also to celebrate my 100th post and the successful LFW. Thank you so much for the appreciation for me and Shin Hye when we were interviewing the street-styler. I'd love to meet them in person if they don't mind, but too bad that I also have more hectic schedules of fashion weeks around Milan ahead. Sooo, you guys can guess which place should I visit later! Ciao!
