Netherlanders

This is what I do when I have new friend from different country/background: read their magazines. Whether it's lifestyle, fashion, or livings, I always start the relationship by read lots of magazines. This helps me to know what interests her and probably we can be more relatable. So my new bestiest, Bianca from Amsterdam who's currently having her homestay in Milan too for the next 4 years has been pretty crazy whenever we gather around. She brought mountains of fashion magazines from her hometown and I'm pretty amazed by how she take care of them, unlike me. Besides, reading foreign magazines practices my tongue~

Black Cats

My alarm went off early this morning because I had a date with the mailman. Yes, that's right! He finally brought me my long awaited Prada sunglasses! When I received a message from a PR company with the question if I was interested in free sponsored designer sunglasses from Smart Buy Glasses, I went on an online hunt for the perfect pair. Prada launched their sunglasses collection called 'Minimal Baroque' last year already, but who cares? They are friggin' fabulous so I decided I had no choice but to order these! This black cat-eye pair has super cute ornaments on the sides and makes you feel like Audrey Hepburn back in the 50's.

Just opening up that pretty white box alone is already a great feeling. I can't wait for the sunshine to come out again so I can wear these beauties all the time. Summer will be more fashionable than ever this year.

The Photoshoot

Oh boy, it was actually fun and memorable. But it was damn bloody tiring! And just when I managed to clear my skin from problematic zits in the recent days with religious TLC, new itchy ones are popping out from the day's old thick impervious makeup! I thought I looked like a clown, but it somehow turned out alright on camera. I feel kinda bad to see my hair abused the way it was today. Janet asked me to handle her pre-wedding photoshoot in Milan cuz it's pretty hard to find free-of-charge photographers here, ha!

Mango poncho, French Connection jeans, Hispanitas shoes, Asos sunglasses

Lucas--who supposed to be at his office then--looked really dashing in his well-fitted suits. And the Vermichelle Giant's staff was amazingly nice and helpful with the photoshoot! Lucas and I managed to walked a little around the location to make sure everything's ready. We were definitely impressed (all staff was briefed on our photoshoot!), and we are pretty sure we would like all the pictures taken there. The next and last venue was the great green forest in Vancouver and well, beach shots lo. Oh, plus some carpark, log, and bridge shots. Our clients are pretty good in posing, but well, I have yet to see the final outcome... Can't wait to see them though! Can see that my random thoughts are pretty jumbled up and I badly in need for a good sleep to rid off the headache pounding my head now. Again, sigh.

Current Lovely: JC x Black Milk? Bomb!

Images from Tumblr

As if we haven't seen enough versions of Jeffrey Campbell's fancy footwear yet, here is an awesome collaboration between the popular shoe designer and Black Milk, an Australian clothing brand that not too long ago became famous in the underground fashion scene through their leggings with galaxy, muscle and bone prints. I can sense a lot of great work already by hearing those two names together! From last Monday on a collection of shoes are now available for sale only at Solestruck. You can get them in several succesfull models such as Lita's, Damsel's and the Tie's. I wasn’t really planning on getting a pair of Lita's again, as everyone already seems to rock 'em, but those cartoon ones... so very tempting! Have you chosen your favourite pair already?

Come Shines At Me

Zara blazer, Zara shirt, H&M pants, H&M shoes

After re-reading the earlier entries of my blog (those written in my lastly 2011s), I came to realize that I have changed. Quite a fair bit. Even the blogging style has changed. How one portrays one's thoughts reflect the way they are. Aside from the content of one's thoughts. I seemed a lot more carefree and vivacious in the past; and less of a cynic. But I also sounded childish and ignorant. I went, "Wow, this was me just a year back?" I couldn't quite connect to the 'Me' back then. And were those the biggest problems I had at that point in time?! Why do I sound enthusiastic, even though I had ended each entry with a "Need to go to bed now!"? But of course, so much has happened within this year. It only led me to wonder what would I be thinking a year on, as I read this entry and those earlier?

Rad Red Rat

Zara sweater, Zara shirt, H&M pants, Zara bag, H&M ring, Zara shoes, Asos sunglasses

Dizzy, headache, brainstorming, whatever you call it but I'm sick now... Last night I forced myself to worked on some papers. The project should be done in a group, but some things weren't right so that I had to change them by myself. Note this, if you want something to be perfect, do it by yourself. But it made me passed my dinner and I just remembered I haven't ate anything yesterday. Only some fruits which I've showed you in the previous post. Oh I'm gonna pass out by this evening...
