Oh, Crap

I have to admit, I get very frustrated with myself sometimes. Clumsiness and a short-term memory are just but a few of the traits which mar my awesomeness. Haha. And I'm pretty sure that Lucas is nodding his head furiously like an overcharged solar-powered pastel bald-but-smiley-being propped on some cars' dashboard as he reads this. He was cheesed off by those qualities of mine too many times.

Zara blazer, Tommy Hilfiger shirt, French Connection jeans, Hispanitas shoes, Asos sunglasses

So he wasn't too surprised when I wailed to him about the most recent misfortune. I dropped my iPhone on the road as I got off a colleague's car in a rush, and stepped on my iPhone as soon as it touched ground. Resulting in a silver spiderweb permanently etched on my iPhone screen. My mouth opened in a silent scream and I blinked a dew times after I picked my phone up. You know, probably the sunrays hit the screen at a certain angle or something. But noooooo…

The touchscreen is working at least. Shucks. What a dampener! Doesn't seem to bode well huh? Lucas seemed to have an idea but that has to wait till after CNY. Keeping my fingers crossed! Oh gosh. Really, man. Stupid me.

PS: I made these photos on Friday when I the class is over and went for a stroll through the center of Milan (my university is quite near), so this is a 100% "college look". I hope you like it!

I'm Not A Kind of God...

"Where have you been?" you ask. Where have I NOT been. Wait for it... Yep, here's my oft-repeated quote: "I know it's been a while since my last post, BUT..." Seriously, I've been everywhere but home, it seems, these past few weeks. Here's a brief recap...

March 14-16 - Work (keep in mind, this means leaving the house at 5:40am and getting home, after working out, at 9:40pm).
March 17 - Depart in Milan for a friend's wedding shoot.
March 17-21 - In Milan for the wedding.
March 21 - Go straight from airport to work.
March 21-24 - Work.
March 24 - Go straight from work to airport.
March 25-April 4 - Barcelona to have a great getaway trip with Elena and Eun Rae, (and suddenly met my old-time childhood friend, Denali!)
April 4 - Go straight from airport to work (again).
April 4-5 - Work.
April 6 - Elena and Eun Rae back to work again, unpack from Barcelona, pack for next trip.
April 7 - Depart for Lunar Lake reunion with my journalist team.
April 7-14 - Lunar Lake reunion in California.
April 15-17 - Work.
April 18-20 - Visit some clients and friend up in Idaho Falls.
April 21 - Afternoon at Starbucks.
April 22 - Elena came and accompany me to visit her sister in Vegas.
April 22-24 - Work.

Phew! Tired yet? I sure am! But hopefully my blog absence is a little more justified now (although no more cared about). But lest another month go by without a photography post, I thought I would deliver on my promise to show the difference between a polarized and a non-polarized image.

This first picture was taken WITHOUT a polarizer on the lens. Well, actually, the polarizer WAS on the lens, but it was rotated to eliminate it's effect. Notice how there's very little color saturation and notice how strong the reflection is in the pond. When the polarizer is rotated like this, it allows and possibly slightly increases reflections.

And here's the picture with the polarizer ON and rotated to eliminate/reduce the reflections. Seriously, that's all that was done, I didn't go in on the computer afterwards and increase the color saturation. The only difference between these two pictures is one had the polarizing filter rotated to permit/increase reflections, and the other rotated to eliminate/decrease reflections. And since the polarizer reduces the amount of light passing through, the polarized image is also one or two-thirds stops brighter. I know, boring, but now you know (and still don't care). Hopefully I'll have more for you later!

Broken Bones

Mango jeans, H&M shirt, Zara parka, H&M shoes

This is the first time I wore ripped jeans, wow! And it feels good :D This is a DIY, of course. I saw this ripped jeans trend about few years ago which some sources said its main aim was for band members. Then there came the fashionable people and changed the real aim, turned this ripped jeans as another wearable fashion items. I'm not sure that mom will like my new jeans. Oh, she liked this jeans, and I've ripped it...

The jeans isn't so ripped since this is my first time experimenting with my own clothes :D And sorry for the shoes, I forgot to take a full-body picture and the close-up. Ah, it's not that beautiful so seeing them on my feet isn't so important. I also decided to just write the items right under the last picture start from now on. Have a blast weekend!

Think Again

H&M jumper, Asos collar, French Connection jeans, Zara shoes

Details. This outfit's highlighter is definitely the croachet collar. It's a very attractive detail that gives a touch of romantic and original to the look. Got the idea from various sites and other fashion bloggers. Just so you know that at first I don't think that detachable collars would become a trend like nowadays~ Do you like it?

So what do I got this past few days? Anything new? Oh nothing's new. Okay probably there is. I don't know how to explain it. Maybe I'll tell you guys later. Sorry if I haven't replied all the comments, as you guys can see that this blog hasn't updated for some days and I'm back to my hectic days at uni. The only entertainment I got was THG casts interviews I watched with some friends. One of my favourite is this one. Wish to see you soon!

Watch Your Steps!

Zara dress, Massimo Dutti belt, Miss KG shoes, French Connection clutch

I mean, you better watch my steps. I just can't see the roads with this maxi dress, LOL. Lucas sent me this dress from Zara which actually a secondhand stuff from his mom. It's such an honor for me to have this dress, really :) It's elegant, fancy, and simple. Not too much, and I can combine this dress with anything I want and still look appropriate. Also, it was such a coincidence since I had nothing to wear for a dinner with some new friends. The warmness you can get when no once cares :) Happy weekends, peeps!

Mushroom Beige

I'm gonna sleep with them tonight. Yeah, another pair of JC Litas. Some of my new friends said I'm freaking them out with wearing these kind of shoes. Well, my height is in average for Italian, so that's probably why I'm getting critized. Oh I'm not blessed by over-170-cms tall so yeah, guess that's why JC shoes were created~

Aqua Lluvia

Zara shirt, Zara shorts, La Redoute shoes, H&M necklace, Mango ring

'Nice blue door', that was the first thought that came from my mind about this. Lucia took me downtown and we stopped here, at the backyard of Sandra's house. Not so many people there so I decided to just take some snaps of my OOTD. I must say, Lucia's hands are pretty talented too for her attributions in this blog. Thank you so much for the 'hands', sweety-pie ;) I am trying to convince her to make a photoblog too so that we can see lots of her talents. Wish me luck!

The only 'blue' thing in this outfit is the door, and my necklace probably. Well, it's getting hot here and all I thinking was to swim. But it's almost impossible to swim here in Milan. Then people got coming in our way so me and Lucia was in hurry to hid ourself, teehee :D Have a lovely weekend, pals~
