L-O-M-O

Since a few years I've become hooked on Lomography. Never heard of it? You should be ashamed of yourself! ;) Lomography is a brand, shop and community all in one which focuses on analogue photography. They have some really cool cameras which let you make the most amazing photographs no digital camera could ever take. Me as a photographer, I shoot with both digital cameras ánd analogue cameras. Analogue photography lets me escape from the urge for perfection that I always feel when I do digital photography. And yet, most of the photographs that I get out of my roll films turn out to be just that perfect.

When I was getting to know Lomography I used a camera called Holga, a lovely one to start with but I wanted more options, which is why I got myself a fancy white Diana F+. You've probably all seen this camera somewhere in an editorial, magazine, or maybe on the streets. How can you not love the looks of this lovely little thing. Through the online shop at Lomography, or at any of their Gallery Stores all over the world, you can buy this camera but also it's accessories. The package that I put together for myself included a Diana F+ Flash, for obvious reasons, and an Instant Back, which is one of the greatest things you can do with the camera.

On the Diana F+, you can change the normal back of the camera with the Instant Back that lets you take polaroids. Yes, polaroids. Finished in a second and super cute to stick basically anywhere from your wallet to your wall. As if this all wasn't just convincing enough for you to get your own, I also bought a camera called Supersampler. This black rubberized version that I have takes 4 shots on a frame in 0,1 to 1 second.

Really fun to use when you want to capture movements or shoot the same object in different angles. It's a great 'shoot from the hip' camera. Expect to read more stories on the outcome of my roll films and polaroids, 'cause I'll be taking my Lomography gear with me everywhere I go!

Changing Opportunities

Still remember how I used to collect random things that are collectable enough to be put on my inventories? Welp, I think I'm going to overloaded the stuffs now. My camera collections are getting too many and I can't manage myself to use them one by one everyday. That makes the camera will get worst and worst if I keep on doing that. So rather than seeing my babies broken because of myself, I'm thinking about selling them away to you, my good readers :) I believe there are people out there who interested to have one of my babies and take care of them than me, no?

But I'm still thinking about it. Just hope that the stuffs are still good because today, after I back from work, I'm gonna opene the garage sale, woohoo! Live on this blog! So stay tune this evening! You don't wanna miss some good goods, do you? ;)

Somewhere In Brooklyn

Shopping through the "Russian Brooklyn" this morning with Eren and once again bought another accessories. Oh and this cute little pink heels from Moschino was actually a great finds! But please don't ask me why :D Anyway, I just broke my camera and unfortunately, it was one of my favourite :( Yep, I dropped my Nikon D5000 right after 'someone' used it for their 'secret project' on today's class... No, revenge isn't a good attitude and I'll just be the right one by letting them free of charge. Afterall, I still can buy myself another one, no? ;)

London Finds Part 2

Yep, this is another London finds :) But I haven't tried it yet. Still wondering about the results cuz I wanna take beautiful photos without taking risks with this Minolita X-700. I hate vintage, but I love collecting vintage cameras, haha. Yeah, just like Rhianne!

The Collector

So why do I always collect cameras even if I know I've had enough of them? I love being called as collectors. Any kind of things, as long as it's collectible, then I'm gonna collect it. Cameras are one of my investments. Don't forget about the shoes. Like this one... As I've told you I got a cold so I'm not allowed to do an outside photoshoot. Lucas also doesn't accompany me now. He's quite busy these past few days during his presentation for our photography class. He's the leader, by the way ;)

And for this post, I wanna show you what I've taken with my brand new polaroid camera, just came by 2 days ago when I was trying to rest my head and feet from Hawaii. It's a birthday gift that Jason gave to me. He's my friend. I was first knew him from Lomography site and since then we always shared lots of things to each other :D Thank you so much for the polaroid, J. I'm about to start collecting them now....

The Test Drive

I finally use the E-PL3 with a Panasonic 20mm f1.7 lens and don't miss the flash at all. I carry the flash in it's little pouch in my pocket and if (if and when) I need it I have it in short order. As for the grip I just got a little "Flipbac" grip (same as I put on my XZ-1) and it works just fine. I also got the new VF-3 viewfinder and it's good to have once in a while on the E-PL3, but I really use it a lot on the XZ-1 which really benefits from it. I love the 40mm view of the Panasonic 20mm, but once in a while I need a different view and the 28-112mm of the XZ-1 is perfect. I carry both cameras at times and they both get remarkably good shots.

So Many Babies!

About a week ago, I was browing another great collection of Olympus, and I found the E-PL version number 3. But I had no money to buy more camera right now. And check out what happened for the last 8 days?? I got a package from them! As you might have known, Olympus is one of my sponsors for this blog and I can't hold my breathe because of this new baby at home! Please welcome, "Eiffels"!

Yes, I was sent not just one or two, but 3 cameras! I was first asked about the body colours and I interested with the smoothy dark purple. Then they asked me if I want to take the black and silver one too as the basic colour. I said yes, but I thought they were just kidding! Now I don't know what should I do with the others :D Oh at least I don't have to pay for it LOL.
